According to new information from the Samsung front, during WhatsApp calls, instant translation will be made and reflected on the screen. In this way, it is aimed to communicate easily even with someone who speaks a language you do not know at all. Thus, language barriers are expected to be completely eliminated.
Samsung Galaxy AI, which was announced at the beginning of this year and has come a long way in a short time, brings one good innovation after another to make users’ daily lives easier. The South Korean technology giant has now announced the live translation feature that will come with One OI 6.1.1 for Galaxy AI.
This new feature that Samsung is working on will be detailed at the Galaxy Unpacked event on July 10, 2024. The Live Translate feature, which will be available for supported phone models, will be available to users on the same day with Galaxy One UI 6.1.1.
Samsung will also bring real-time language translation in the stock Messages app and third-party messaging apps (including WhatsApp) on devices with Galaxy AI. In this way, you will be able to translate instantly even while sending SMS and overcome the language barrier.
Of course, it’s unclear for now how fast this new live translation feature will work and whether it will cause various waiting times. But as Galaxy AI continues to improve, this feature is expected to reduce delays.
