A sad announcement regarding the Path of Exile 2 release date!

Ana sayfa / News

Unfortunately, the much-anticipated good news for the highly anticipated action-RPG hasn’t arrived. Currently in early access, the game’s director, Jonathan Rogers, admitted that the targeted March 2026 release window for Path of Exile 2 no longer seems feasible.

Speaking to Eurogamer, Jonathan Rogers attempted to maintain a balance between hope and reality. The director stated that he is confident that the game’s full release (v1.0) will not be delayed beyond 2026. However, he hinted at a delay regarding the previously targeted March date, saying, “I don’t think it will be March; we’ll have to wait and see.”

Developer Grinding Gear Games had originally planned a full release earlier, but by the summer, it became clear that this target would not be met. Expectations had been shifted to the first quarter of 2026, but now this date is also at risk. Rogers said, “I don’t have a definitive timeline, but I definitely wouldn’t want it to be later than the end of next year. We’re doing everything we can to avoid a delay until 2027.”

Considering the game has been in public early access for nearly a year, this delay may disappoint some players. However, Rogers reminds us that the project is still in development. Two chapters are still missing from the campaign. End-game content and other additions will be made after these chapters are completed.
