OpenAI launches advanced voice mode for ChatGPT
With the addition of new voice options, ChatGPT now has a total of nine different voices. Users can now choose between these voices for a more personal and natural experience. OpenAI has also improved the interface of the voice mode. Instead of the old black animated dot, we now see a blue animated sphere.
AVM is currently available to some ChatGPT Plus and Teams subscribers. Corporate and education users will start using the feature next week. The feature, which is also available to most users in Türkiye, is not yet active in some regions such as the EU, the UK, Norway and Switzerland.
The new update is not limited to voice options. Users now have the opportunity to further customize ChatGPT. Thanks to the Custom Instructions feature, you can adjust ChatGPT to your own needs. Moreover, the Memory feature has also been improved. This means that ChatGPT will be able to remember past conversations and reference them in future conversations.
However, some expected features are still not available. ChatGPT’s video and screen sharing features were not included in this update. OpenAI has not yet given a date for when these features will be released, but said that the development process is ongoing.
