In this sense, Apple started to take the first steps for a more affordable Vision Pro shortly after the introduction. It is obvious that developers did not give up on Vision Pro until August. However, after the Vision Pro interest decreased, developers also started to give up developing applications for the model.
However, AR/VR developers speaking on the subject talk about the low number of active users. In this sense, developers are looking to focus on this business with the increasing interest in mixed reality glasses. In this sense, it seems imperative that a more affordable option for Apple Vision Pro emerges.
Although the affordable Vision Pro sounds good, it is known that Apple will cut some features for this model. In this sense, it was also revealed that the model will come at a more affordable price of 2000 dollars. It is also known that Apple will use a lower processor in the affordable and so-called cheap Vision Pro model.
According to the claims, the EyeSight feature, which is among the important features of the Vision Pro model, will not be included in the cheap model. As you know, Vision Pro, which scans the user’s eyes with the EyeSight feature, gives the user’s virtual eye image to the screen.
Although there is a perception that it is affordable, 2000 dollars is not an affordable price in the eyes of the consumer. How much excitement this new cheap model, which will compromise Vision Pro material, features and processing power, will create is also a matter of debate. Apple is expected to introduce this affordable model in 2025.
