The countdown has begun for the continuation of the “A” series, which Google offers to users as an affordable alternative to the standard Pixel models. As it is known, Pixel 7a was introduced last year and received generally positive feedback. Now it’s Pixel 8a’s turn, and the latest reports reveal that the phone has exceeded a critical threshold. Google Pixel 8a in Bluetooth SIG database – Features and launch date
Google Pixel 8a appeared in the Bluetooth SIG database with model numbers G8HNN, GKV4X, G6GPR, and G576D. The list does not reveal any technical features of the smartphone other than that it will come with Bluetooth 5.3 support, but it does indicate that the launch is very soon.
The smartphone is expected to be introduced at the Google I/O conference to be held in May . However, it will have a 6.1-inch FHD + resolution OLED display that offers a 120 Hz refresh rate. Moreover, it will support 1,400 nits peak brightness and HDR technology
As it is known, Pixel 7a, which was showcased last year, featured a 90 Hz refresh rate. As seen above, the new smartphone will come with serious improvements, especially on the screen side. Apart from this, the model will be powered by an overclocked version of Tensor G3. In fact, last year’s Geekbench performance test results of the product were 1,218 points in single-core and 3,175 points in multi-core.
