After nearly 10 years in development, survival game 7 Days to Die is finally getting ready to release version 1.0. Developer The Fun Pimps has announced that the game will leave early access in June.

Originally released on Kickstarter in 2013, 7 Days to Die went into early access on Steam later that year. Over 10 years later, developer The Fun Pimps has continuously updated the game with new beta versions.

The open-world survival game set in a post-apocalyptic zombie-infested world has received many updates since 2013. Despite its long stay in early access, it’s safe to say that 7 Days to Die has a dedicated player base.

The number of concurrent players on Steam has increased over the years, reaching over 96 thousand users. Even today, it still manages to attract more than 15 thousand players regularly.

The Fun Pimps plans to release version 1.0 of 7 Days to Die with a major update in June. In this context, it is also possible to say that the game will leave early access.

According to the developer, this version comes with a number of additions and improvements, including a new challenge system and expanded zombie variants. It is also worth noting that the price of the game will increase on Steam.
