Benzinga, one of the economy news sites that has risen in recent years in the USA, has made a fake interview scandal with AI. Accordingly, the news site, which published the interview with the famous rapper and entrepreneur Gilbert Anthony Milam Jr. a few days ago, withdrew the publication.

Besides being a rapper, Gilbert Anthony Milam Jr. also owns a drug production enterprise. However, Miliam Jr. and his initiative were investigated by the Supreme Judiciary for bullying in commission payments and self-serving activities.

In the wake of this scandal, Benzinga writer David Daxsen published an interview with Gilbert Anthony Milam Jr. In the interview, the Benzinga reporter was cornering Milam Jr. about this investigation and litigation process.

However, after a while, Milam Jr. released a statement. According to the statement, the famous rapper announced that he did not give such an interview. The rapper, who explained that he gave every interview in his own voice, denied Benzinga by saying that these are definitely not my words.

New feature for Google Chrome tabs! artificial intelligence surprise

Chrome is on track for an AI-powered tab organizing feature. Accordingly, trials for the new tabs editing tool have begun.

Following these findings, reactions began to come from social media. Benzinga recently took the interview off the air. Although the institution has not made a statement on this issue, it is a matter of debate how an interview produced by AI receives editorial approval.

People first thought that Gilbert Anthony Milam Jr. made this statement because he regretted what he said. Following these reactions, journalist Grant Smith Ellis had the text checked by AI. Indeed, findings emerged that the majority of the text was produced by artificial intelligence. The interesting detail is that it turned out that the author of the interview, David Daxsen, had a similar initiative by Milam Jr.

Although it is very easy to produce text and content using AI today, there are also artificial intelligence tools that understand that these texts are produced by AI. However, this is not the first time that the fake interview scandal with AI has occurred.

Previously, German magazine Die Aktuelle had interviewed F1 pilot Michael Schumacher, who has been in a coma since 2013, via AI. However, the magazine published this text stating that it was produced by AI. Afterwards, following the reactions from the Schumacher family, the editor-in-chief of the magazine resigned and the magazine published an apology.
