AI Mode expands beyond English for the first time

Google’s AI Mode is finally going global, breaking past English and reaching users in five new native languages.

For the first time, users in Brazil, Japan, South Korea, India, and Indonesia can access AI Mode in their native tongue. Google Search’s built-in chatbot now speaks Hindi, Japanese, Korean, Indonesian, and Brazilian Portuguese. That’s a long-awaited shift for users outside the English-speaking bubble.

FSR 4 finally rolls out across most FSR 3.1 titles

FSR 4 is now usable in over 85 games, with AI-powered upscaling and frame-gen that boosts visuals and FPS across most FSR 3.1 titles.

AI Mode had been available in over 180 countries, but only in English. After expanding in the US, UK, and India earlier this year, the timing now lines up with Google’s promise to scale its AI tools faster than ever.

Google’s updated AI experience is powered by its custom Gemini 2.5 Pro model. It brings smarter reasoning, sharper responses, and deeper context awareness to local queries.

Here’s what the upgrade delivers:

While Google paints a rosy picture of steady web traffic, a recent court filing tells a different story. It states the “open web is already in rapid decline.” With AI Mode answering more questions directly, fewer users may click through to publisher websites.

Google isn’t just translating its tools; it’s retooling the entire search experience around AI. With AI Mode now multilingual, it’s clear the company sees generative results, not blue links, as the future. And for better or worse, that future just got a lot closer.
