Big steps continue to be taken in the hardware industry. This time ASUS and Intel will take the stage together. The new generation of Asus motherboards, which will be introduced on October 10, 2024, comes together with Intel’s Ultra 200 series processors. Here are the details…
Z890 and AI-powered motherboards from ASUS and Intel coming October 10
ASUS introduced its new motherboard series with the slogan “AI New Power”. The new devices stand out especially with their AI-powered performance features. Intel’s Ultra 200 series desktop processors will also be released on the same day. These processors range from Ultra 5 to Ultra 7 and range in price from $350 to $450.
With the new generation of processors, Z890 motherboards will push the performance envelope. For performance enthusiasts, the flagship ROG Maximus Z890 Extreme will be available for around $1111.87. This is about $100 more than the previous Z790 Extreme model.
The innovations are not limited to this. ASUS’ Z890 series motherboards are designed to be compatible with Intel’s next-generation Arrow Lake-S processors. However, the performance limits will be fully lifted on October 24, when the full power of the motherboards will be unleashed.
The new generation of motherboards, especially those with artificial intelligence support, are a preparation for the technologies of the future. This new series, which is highly anticipated both in terms of performance and price, seems to meet expectations. What do you think?
