The wait is almost over; Apple will introduce new products in September. The company will introduce many new devices at the event, such as the iPhone 14 series, the Apple Watch family, and the new AirPods models. Rumors suggest we’ll see the new AirPods Pro this year, so what can we expect from the new headset?
Design of AirPods Pro 2
According to rumors, the new AirPods Pro 2 will not be much different from the previous sPro in design. But Apple‘s new headset seems to make a change on the case. Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo says Pro 2 will come with a Lightning input instead of Type-C, as expected.
On the other hand, it will have Apple Lossless (ALAC) support. One of the remarkable details about the wireless headset is that it comes with a speaker in its case. Although it is not clear yet, it is claimed that if it is lost, it will make a sound for users to find.
Apart from that, AirPods Pro 2 will have skin detection sensors. This way, it will detect that it is attached to the ear and pause the music on different surfaces. Its predecessor also had optical sensors. However, in some cases, it did mess up the surfaces. The new technology will be more successful in detecting human skin.
The launch date of the headset is unknown. However, according to the allegations, mass production has started in Vietnam facilities and will appear until the event in September, when the iPhone 14 series will be showcased at the latest. Also, according to rumors, the price of AirPods Pro 2 is already known. It will be $249/£239.
Do you think Apple will surprise users with the AirPods Pro 2 model it will release this year? When it comes out, would you prefer it over the earphone model you are using now? Please share with us in the comments.
