Apple will introduce the new AirPods Pro model at an event it will hold in September. According to the details discovered in the beta version of iOS 26, work on the third generation of AirPods Pro has been completed. It is understood that the company will offer many innovations, both hardware and software, to the user with the new generation headphones.
AirPods Pro 3 brings important features
AirPods Pro 3 includes health-focused features such as heart rate monitoring and temperature detection. These sensors were previously used in the Powerbeats Pro 2 model. The skin temperature measurement used in the Apple Watch is not considered sufficient for fever detection. The in-ear temperature measurement of the new AirPods will provide more accurate and meaningful health data.
Improvements have also been made to the sound quality. Apple takes the sound experience to the next level with the H3, the new version of the H series chip used in AirPods. The Lossless Audio support offered by AirPods Pro 2 when used with Vision Pro is now possible on a wider range of devices.
Thanks to the Bluetooth 5.4 connection, audio delay is reduced, which means a smoother experience, especially in scenarios such as watching videos and playing games. The Active Noise Cancellation feature has also been strengthened in the new generation.
The H2 chip used in the AirPods Pro 2 reduced external noise with 48,000 operations per second. This processing capacity increases with the H3 chip. In this way, more effective filtering is provided against environmental noise. The Adaptive Sound system also works more stably in parallel.
There are also changes in the design. The AirPods Pro 3 has a new appearance. The thinner case, capacitive hidden pairing button and LED indicators featured in the AirPods 4 are also used in this model. These differences are not only aesthetic; they also bring innovation in terms of ease of use and ergonomics.
The device’s location tracking capabilities have also been improved. Apple’s second-generation Ultra Wideband chip allows the location of the headphones to be detected more precisely through the Find My app. Thanks to this chip, finding lost headphones becomes both faster and more accurate.
