As in every year, Apple, which gained momentum with the iPhone 16 series, seems to have already started working on a new iPhone. While expectations are high for the iPhone 17, it is claimed that the iPhone SE 4 model, which will be refreshed for the first time in three years, will be announced first. The features and design of the iPhone SE 4, expected to be introduced in the spring, have generally come to light. Here are the details…
iPhone SE 4 Will Have a Revamped Design and Better Display
The new iPhone model, which is said to be introduced in about six months, will be more affordable and will be a significant update to the SE series after three years. The iPhone SE, which has been offered with the iPhone 8 design since the iPhone SE 2, will abandon this design for the new model and present a design similar to the iPhone 14.
The device is expected to feature a 6.1-inch OLED display with a curved design, although it is still claimed to come with a single camera. It is noted that the same 6.1-inch OLED panel used in the iPhone 14 will be employed in the iPhone SE 4, but there is no official information available yet.
The iPhone SE 4 will also transition to USB-C technology, found in all recent Apple products, indicating a gradual farewell to the Lightning port. With the SE series, all iPhone models will have switched to USB-C.
In terms of camera, the SE 4 will have a significant upgrade with a 48-megapixel main camera compared to the SE 3, carrying the iPhone 15 camera. Additionally, Apple Intelligence features are expected to be included, and the phone may come with at least an A18 processor and 8GB of RAM; otherwise, the AI features may not function properly.
Regarding pricing, considering that the iPhone 14 is sold for $599, it would be reasonable for the iPhone SE 4 to be priced around $499.
