Amazfit has expanded the availability of its Balance 2 XT smartwatch, bringing the budget-friendly wearable to Germany. Originally launched in the U.S. and already available in Italy and Spain, this model offers key features from the flagship Balance 2 at a lower cost.
Amazfit Balance 2 XT now available below retail
Retailers in Germany, including Galaxus, are now selling the Amazfit Balance 2 XT for €177.00—down from its official €199.90 price. The €22.90 discount appears to be part of early holiday promotions and may not last beyond early December.
This pricing positions the XT as a much more accessible option compared to the standard Balance 2, which carries a €299.90 price tag across Europe.
Balance 2 XT keeps key features, trims the extras
The XT version retains a 1.5-inch AMOLED display, matching the screen size of the original Balance 2. However, it swaps sapphire glass for a more affordable mineral glass. Design changes are minimal, with a metallic gray bezel and black silicone strap giving it a modern, athletic look.

To hit its lower price point, the Balance 2 XT drops a few premium perks. It no longer supports diving and lacks the Golf app found on the more expensive model. The water resistance rating drops from 10 ATM to 5 ATM, limiting use in deeper water.
Still, for users who don’t need those features, the XT offers solid tracking and excellent battery life at a much more appealing price.
XT brings more buyers into the Balance ecosystem
With its expanded European rollout, the Balance 2 XT opens the door for more users to enter Amazfit’s health-focused platform without stretching their budget. There’s no word yet on availability in markets like the UK, but with growing demand for affordable wearables, a wider launch seems likely.
