AMD is getting ready to rock the market with new and affordable graphics cards for gamers. According to rumors, the RX 7400 and RX 7300 models of the Radeon RDNA 3 series will be introduced soon. These two new graphics cards aim to offer a budget-friendly option with a price tag below the current RX 7600.
What features will AMD’s two new affordable graphics cards have?
AMD’s new RX 7400 and RX 7300 models look set to make a big impact in terms of price-performance. Considering that the RX 7600 has 2,048 RDNA 3 processing units and 8 GB of GDDR6 memory, we can expect the RX 7400 and RX 7300 to have similar, but slightly lower specs. The RX 7400 is likely to come with at least 16 CUs (Compute Units), while the RX 7300 is likely to be in the 12-16 CU range.
Especially looking at the Steam Hardware and Software Survey, the demand for affordable graphics cards is high. The Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 remains popular despite its launch in 2016. AMD’s new RX 7400 and RX 7300 models can meet this demand and be preferred by a large audience.
AMD has made significant strides in affordable graphics cards before. Following a similar strategy in the past with models such as the RX 6500 XT and RX 6400, the company aims to offer even more powerful performance with the RDNA 3 architecture this time. Although the specifications of these new cards have not yet been fully announced, they are expected to offer a performance slightly below the RX 7600.
At the moment, it is unclear when AMD will introduce the new RX 7400 and RX 7300 graphics cards. What do you think? Don’t forget to share your thoughts with us in the comments section below!
