AMD announced Ryzen 7000 Launch date: Ryzen 7950x and more

AMD, the processor manufacturer, announced the new AMD Ryzen 7000 series and its launch date. The company will launch the new Ryzen 7000 series with Zen 4. The launch will be on September 27, and you will be able to buy the gaming chips. The chip manufacturer ranges the prices from $299 to $699 for the 7000 series. Let’s check the details.

AMD promises to be the best gaming chip manufacturer with AMD Ryzen 7000 series

AMD announced that while Ryzen 6000 laptops were coming, it would launch also the desktops with the new generation Ryzen series at CES back in January. Today, the company announced its new AMD Ryzen 7000 series and the launch date. The manufacturer will launch new gaming chips on September 27, ranging from $299 to $699 prices.

AMD also showed the benchmarks as always. The company compared its processor gen-over-gen. The Ryzen 9 7950X has a 32% boost in DOTA 2, a 35% boost in Shadow of the Tomb Raider, a 6% boost in Borderlands 3, and a 13% increase in CS:GO performance over the Ryzen 9 5950X.

The processor manufacturer also claims that the new processors with Zen 4 cores are the best for gaming. While the Core i9-12900K came in at 2,040, the Ryzen 5 7600X came in at 2.715, and the Ryzen 9 7950X came in at 2,275 in the Geekbench 5.4 single-thread scores.

AMD Ryzen 9 7950X has the highest performance among other Ryzen processors. It offers 16 cores with 32 threads, a boost clock of up to 5.7GHz, a total cache of 80MB (the L2 cache has been doubled), and a 170W TDP. The company will also launch the new AM5 platform, and it guarantees to launch the new platform at least in 2025.
