AMD has announced that it is primarily a “data center company” with the statements of CEO Lisa Su. Speaking at a conference recently, CEO Su said that data center revenues account for more than half of the company’s total revenues.

Accordingly, data centers will be at the center of AMD’s future strategy. The company, which has achieved great success with its EPYC server processors in recent years, has gained a significant competitive power against Intel in the data center market.

Data center revenues reached $2.8 billion last quarter, outpacing the company’s gaming segment, proving AMD’s rise in this area. This suggests that the company will return to a focus on enterprise and cloud-based workloads.

Ubisoft’s Watch Dogs movie wrapped filming

Watch Dogs movie filming is complete. The project, which has been in the works for about 10 years, will be released in the coming years.

AMD’s new strategy has raised concerns about whether it will fall behind in the gaming world. But with its integrated graphics strategy, dubbed UDNA, AMD aims to bring together GPU and AI technologies that can serve both graphics and computing workloads.

For now, CEO Lisa Su said that data centers are the top priority for AMD. On the other hand, AMD Vice President and General Manager of the Computing and Graphics Group Jack Huynh stated that the company’s number one priority in the graphics card will be the mid-range market.

Huynh believes that AMD’s strategy of focusing on flagship performance has not been successful. In this context, the company will develop price/performance-oriented graphics cards with RDNA 4.
