AMD’s mysterious Bald Eagle Point processor revealed!

Ana sayfa / Processor

Details about AMD’s mysterious new processor, Bald Eagle Point, have emerged. AMD will take its performance to the next level with this processor, as always. Additionally, Bald Eagle Point will be kept ready for possible delays in the development process of RDNA 5. Here are the details…

According to information from AMD, this new processor, named Bald Eagle Point, will come right after Strix Point and will use Zen 5 and Zen 5c cores. This processor will serve as a bridge between Strix Point and Medusa. Medusa, which is much talked about among the new generation processors, will come with RDNA 5 graphics architecture. However, Bald Eagle Point is kept on standby for possible delays in the development process of RDNA 5.

Bald Eagle Point is like a slightly more advanced version of Strix Point. This new processor will have 16MB system level cache (SLC). This feature will help solve the memory bandwidth bottleneck experienced by Strix Point and improve overall performance. Considering that Strix Halo has 32MB MALL Cache / Infinity Cache, this cache amount of Bald Eagle Point is quite remarkable.

AMD Bald Eagle Point will have RDNA 3.5 graphics architecture. This means that higher performance in games and graphics operations awaits us. Additionally, this processor will offer much more efficient and powerful performance by using the combination of Zen 5 and Zen 5c cores.

The real bombshell is that if the development process of RDNA 5 goes smoothly, the possibility of Bald Eagle Point being released may decrease. But in any case, this new processor from AMD will be an important step to increase its performance and maintain competitiveness.
