Ana sayfa / News

Google is gearing up for its Google I/O event scheduled for May 14-16, where it’s expected to unveil its new products and software, including Android 15. So far, two beta versions of the operating system have been released, and the official announcement is expected in the coming days. Here are 5 key features expected to come with Android 15 that will bring many innovations…

Finally, Android 15 brings the long-awaited satellite connectivity support, similar to what Apple offers for iPhone models. With this feature, Android users will be able to send and receive messages using satellite connectivity even without any cellular signal. Unlike in Apple devices, this feature won’t be limited to emergency use only.

One of the most important and useful innovations expected to come with Android 15 is the battery health feature. Initially spotted in Android 14 QPR2 Beta 2, this feature, which shows the full capacity of the battery, is expected to be released with Android 15 after not receiving enough support previously.

One UI 7 surprise with Android 15 from Samsung!

Samsung has started working on the One UI 7 update. This means that the One UI 7 beta program will start soon.

Another handy feature coming with the new update is partial screen sharing and recording. Android 15 will allow users to share and record the screen of a single app, prioritizing privacy. This feature, initially introduced for Pixel devices in Android 14 QPR2, is expected to be available on more devices with Android 15.

Android 15 will introduce a camera connection feature similar to that between iPhones and Macs, allowing users to use their phone’s camera as a webcam on their computers without the need for third-party apps. This will enable high-quality resolution webcam usage directly from the phone.

The familiar “Secure Folder” feature known to Samsung users will now be available on all Android models with the introduction of the hidden space feature in the new operating system update. With this feature, users can hide important apps and files with a PIN or different password. Although not officially confirmed yet, this feature is highly expected to be announced.
