Google released the second developer preview version (Developer Preview 2) of Android 15 in recent weeks. In this context, it was noticed that Android 15 has a new audio feature. Called Audio Sharing, the innovation allows listening to a single song on two different headphones.

“You can let others listen to your media with you using their own headphones,” Google describes the new Audio Sharing support. It’s currently available in the second developer preview version of Android 15.

There is a new Audio Sharing menu on the Connected Devices page. Users can toggle the Audio Sharing switch to allow any headset. They can also access a “Play Test Audio” option to test that the headphones are working correctly.

Traffic jams ending! Google Maps announces new feature

Google Maps introduces a new feature offering color-coded speed recommendations to help prevent traffic congestion. How will it be used?

The feature is said to be available to various Android 15 owners using the preview version. It’s unclear how it works, but it is presumed to use Bluetooth Auracast technology. This technology allows a single transmitter, such as a phone or computer, to share audio with multiple headphones and speakers at the same time.

The introduction of the audio sharing feature in Android 15 is likely to improve the listening experience among users. It allows sharing songs with friends or family members without the need for additional adapters.

On the other hand, Google will also offer an adaptive timeout feature with Android 15. With this feature, the screen will turn off automatically when you are not using the phone.
