Android 16 did not work for Google Pixel models: Phones are unusable!

Ana sayfa / Smartphones

Google has officially released the Android 16 update and rolled it out to supported Pixel devices. However, it seems the new version hasn’t been kind to all Pixel users. Many have reported serious issues after updating, with some saying their phones have become nearly unusable.

While the Android 16 rollout has pleased many users, it has also caused major headaches for others. A significant number of Pixel owners are reporting that the navigation system on their phones no longer works properly after the update. Users are experiencing unresponsiveness and lag when using both gesture navigation and the traditional bottom navigation buttons.

What initially appeared to be a minor glitch is actually interfering with the basic functionality of the phones. Smoothly navigating between menus and apps is a fundamental part of the smartphone experience, and this bug makes that difficult or even impossible.

According to reports, a bug in Android 16 is causing gesture navigation (such as swiping left or up) to randomly freeze on Pixel devices. This issue can occur multiple times a day. Complaints about the bug are rapidly increasing on online platforms like Reddit and X (formerly Twitter).

It’s important to note that not all Pixel users are affected. Some report that their devices are working just fine after the update. However, the growing number of complaints suggests that this is more than just an isolated problem.
