PlayStation’s 30th anniversary festivities are still rolling, and Anicorn is adding to the celebration with two officially licensed watches. Anicorn will launch these collector-focused timepieces on December 18, blending nostalgic design with premium watchmaking, and releasing one in extremely limited quantities.
PlayStation Anicorn Play Symbol brings minimalist flair
First up is the PlayStation Anicorn Play Symbol, a quartz watch offered in two sleek variants: Dark Mode and Light Mode. Both share a clean round case with black leather straps, and the dials proudly display the PlayStation logo along with the iconic controller symbols.
The differences lie in the finishes:
- Dark Mode: Black case and dial, white PlayStation logo, colored symbols
- Light Mode: Silver case, white dial, black logo, and gray symbols
Each version comes packaged in a transparent case and drops at 10 PM EST on December 18. Anicorn plans to make this model more widely available, giving fans and collectors easier access than the limited edition.
PlayStation Limited Edition Mechanical Watch goes all-in
For die-hard fans and collectors, the true highlight of the drop is the PlayStation Limited Edition Mechanical Watch. Clearly inspired by the original PlayStation console, it not only features a bold octagonal 316L stainless steel case and a 42.8mm dial, but also includes swappable FKM rubber straps. Inside, the watch runs on a Miyota 9039 mechanical movement, which delivers approximately 42 hours of power when fully wound.
Other standout details include:
- PlayStation symbols at 12, 3, 6, and 9 o’clock
- “Power” inscribed on the crown
- Sapphire crystal glass and 5 ATM water resistance
- Straps etched with subtle PlayStation icons
Only 300 units of this watch will be made, making it a rare and exclusive piece for fans.
Memory Capsule adds a digital twist
Anicorn is also releasing a Memory Capsule styled after the original PlayStation Memory Card. It includes NFC functionality that allows users to save, view, and overwrite content a nostalgic nod with a modern twist.
