Annoying development for Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra!

Ana sayfa / Smartphones

The countdown for Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy S25 series, set to launch in early 2025, has officially begun. Numerous leaks regarding the models in this series have surfaced, giving us a general idea of what to expect. However, recent developments suggest that users eagerly awaiting these smartphones may face some disappointment.

According to reliable industry sources, the Galaxy S25 Ultra could be more expensive than its predecessor, the S24 Ultra. Although the source did not provide specific reasons, it pointed out that the bill of materials (BoM) for producing the phone is at least $110 more expensive than the previous model.

The source further explained that Samsung might raise the price of the Galaxy S25 Ultra in several countries to cover the increased manufacturing costs. If this price hike fully passes on to consumers, the phone could cost more than $1,400 in certain regions, up from its previous price of $1,299.99.

If this happens, the price of the Galaxy S25 Ultra would surpass models like the iPhone 16 Pro Max ($1,199) and Google Pixel 9 Pro XL ($1,099), which could negatively impact the brand’s sales. Of course, these details are based on leaks, and it’s better to wait for an official announcement from Samsung for confirmation.

What do you think about this? Do you think the Galaxy S25 Ultra will indeed come with a price hike? Feel free to share your thoughts in the comments section!
