While ChatGPT, an artificial intelligence-based chatbot, continues to make waves in the field, competitors continue to come. “Claude” by Anthropic is here. Anthropic, founded by former OpenAI (the company that developed ChatGPT) employees, made their debut with an artificial intelligence-based chatbot named Claude. The company, in which Google invested 300 million dollars in 2022, describes its chatbot as “less likely to produce harmful outputs/results” and “easier to chat with”.
Claude is claimed to be more secure than ChatGPT
The system, like ChatGPT, understands the questions asked and can give adequate answers to users. Not only does it help developers with coding, but it can also prepare content/articles on specific topics for you. Claude, whose answer tone can be customized, does not have any internet access. In this respect, the chatbot is fed with more limited but more accurate data on many topics. There is also Claude Instant, a cheaper, faster, and lighter version of Claude. Both systems are currently not openly available but can be tried by opening a request on this page.
More competitors for ChatGPT are on the way
Other systems besides Claude are being developed as ChatGPT competitors. For example, another artificial intelligence chatbot built on a different foundation than ChatGPT is Bard by Google. Unlike ChatGPT and the new Bing, Bard is not yet available to everyone. Meta is also working in the field. According to sources, Baidu is also among the names preparing to make a sound with an artificial intelligence chatbot named “Ernie Bot” in March.
While You.com’s AI-powered chatbot is already helping users in search, Chinese shopping company Alibaba is also among the names working in the area. For ChatGPT, many more options and competitors are expected to appear in the coming period. What are your thoughts about these artificial intelligence chatbots?
