Anticipated Feature coming with Samsung One UI 7 Update!

Samsung’s new One UI 7 update will give Galaxy users the option to control screen dimming at low battery levels. Previously, when the battery dropped below 5%, the screen would automatically dim excessively, making outdoor usage difficult. With the new update, this feature can now be disabled based on user preference.

One UI 7 was launched alongside the Galaxy S25 series and will soon be available for other supported Galaxy devices. Users can go to Settings > Battery > “Auto Dim Screen” and turn off the forced screen dimming feature.

Although this change may seem minor, it is significant for user experience. Previously, excessive dimming made it difficult to send messages or perform urgent tasks when the battery was low, especially outdoors. Making this feature optional gives users more control over their devices.

The update won’t be limited to just this change. Samsung is also expanding the customization tool Good Lock globally and introducing external video recording for S25 series users. Additionally, a new “Now Bar” feature—similar to Apple’s Dynamic Island—will enhance the user interface.

The Android 15-based One UI 7 update is expected to roll out to all supported Galaxy devices by March. With improved battery management and UI customizations, this update promises more control and a better user experience for Galaxy users.
