iPhone 15 series is expected to be unveiled in the September-October period. New reports indicate that Apple is ramping up production for the iPhone 15 to avoid supply constraints experienced with previous models. Global retailers are also said to be lining up to stock the first batches starting from July.
Production of the iPhone 15 series
Apple’s decision to start production early has sparked curiosity in the tech world. However, it seems that they do not want to encounter similar stock issues as with the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max. Reports suggest that component production has begun, and the first products will be ready in July.
Apple hopes to meet high customer demand by placing stock orders for the iPhone 15 earlier than expected. It is mentioned that the company is “quite optimistic” about the new models and expects them to surpass the sales performance of both the iPhone 13 and iPhone 14.
Known factories such as Foxconn, Pegatron, and Luxshare are involved in the production of the iPhone 15, with Foxconn seemingly responsible for 60% of the series’ production. However, it should be noted that no detailed information has been provided by the manufacturers regarding this matter.
According to emerging information, the standard model of the series, the iPhone 15, will have a 6.1-inch OLED display with a resolution of 1179 x 2556 pixels. This display will support a 60 Hz refresh rate and will feature the Dynamic Island, which displays notifications from applications.
