Ana sayfa / AI

After canceling its car project, Apple has reportedly shifted the budget allocated for it towards artificial intelligence. However, claims have emerged suggesting that Apple is now preparing for a home robot and a screen-equipped HomePod.

Renowned Apple analyst Mark Gurman reveals important insights about Apple every week. According to him, Apple is now gearing up to enter the home robot market. While there aren’t many successful examples yet, Apple seems to be leveraging artificial intelligence in this area. The Apple home robot is expected to stand out with assistant features similar to Amazon’s Astro. It is envisioned as a robot that follows its owner and acts as an assistant based on their needs.

Currently, there isn’t detailed information available about the Apple home robot. However, Gurman claims that John Giannandrea has been appointed to lead this robotic development. Giannandrea serves as the Senior Vice President overseeing machine learning and artificial intelligence strategy at Apple.

Apple’s advancements in artificial intelligence are indeed anticipated to be highlighted with the release of the iPhone 16. Additionally, iOS 18 is expected to introduce new artificial intelligence features. The Apple robot project appears to be a part of this overarching artificial intelligence strategy.

Apple will make iOS 18 look like visionOS!

Apple's Camera app for iOS 18 has been revealed. The new interface is reminiscent of visionOS. Here are the details...

Screened HomePod, again, is a market led by Amazon and Google. Previously, leaks suggested preparation for a screen-based desktop assistant. Now, this possibility seems even stronger.

However, we know that Apple subjects a product to rigorous testing before it hits the production line. The company, which values the end-user experience greatly, strives to bring much more functional products to market. In this regard, despite years of leaks, Apple Vision Pro only emerged last year.

In this sense, we may have to wait a while longer for Apple’s AI-powered robot project. However, with artificial intelligence dominating the tech world, there’s also a possibility that Apple could expedite this process.

Do you think Apple could venture into products like AI-powered robots and screened HomePod with its new artificial intelligence strategy? We await your comments.
