According to the rumors, Apple has been working on the new mixed reality headset for a long time. While there are rumors about the device’s platform, there are also rumors about its name. Apple could call the new AR/VR headset “Reality One,” “Reality Pro,” and “Reality Processor.” The company has registered these trademarks for the device.

The sources say that the tech company might release the headset with iOS based rOS. Since the new mixed reality headset could be paired to a nearby iPhone like the early versions of the Apple Watch. Additionally, some estimations show that Apple will ship 800,000-1.2 m headsets next year after the launch of the device.

The headset is expected to come with 15 cameras, use head tracking sensors, and feature a pair of 8K OLED displays, and a powerful M2 chip. It could also have a spatial audio feature (for a surround sound experience.) Also, Apple’s AR/VR headset may cost about $2,500.
