Apple’s new Beats Pill speaker goes on sale soon
Apple’s new Beats Pill speaker model was last spotted on Taiwan’s National Communications Commission (NCC) website. The device, model number A3211, matches the specifications on the US FCC list.
Products need regulatory approvals before they can be released, and these approvals usually indicate that the product release will take place within a few weeks.
The NCC-listed images give a glimpse of the design of the new Beats Pill. The device retains the familiar cylindrical aesthetic of previous models. The front of the speaker is completely covered by the speaker grille and features a prominent “Beats” logo.
There are four physical buttons on the top and a USB-C port on the back. The new model also has a strap hole on the side. The device is expected to be released in three colors: black, gold and red.
In recent weeks, basketball star LeBron James and Formula 1 driver Daniel Ricciardo have been spotted with the new Beats Pill speaker, suggesting the possibility of an advertising campaign. Following these celebrities, the appearance of the speaker in the iOS 17.5 Release Candidate suggests that the release may be really close.
Apple has yet to officially announce the new Beats Pill model. There is no official release date or price information for now. What do you think? Please don’t forget to share your thoughts with us in the comments section below.
