Apple has launched a new ad campaign that highlights how its Mac computers offer the best performance in artificial intelligence (AI). The company claims that the Mac outperforms its competitors, especially in terms of graphics performance and web browsing speed. The campaign comes after the launch of AI-enabled Windows 11 PCs equipped with Intel’s new Core Ultra 200V series processors.

There are 80 different AI+ PC models with Copilot+ support, produced by brands such as Asus, Samsung, Dell and Acer . Apple announced that in its own tests against these PCs, the graphics performance of the MacBook Air with the M3 processor was 40% faster than the Copilot+ PCs and it gave 25% faster results in web browsing speed.
According to these results, the MacBook Air stands out as an ideal computer, especially for video editing and graphics-intensive games. It also provides a significant advantage in general web browser performance. These claims are based on Apple’s tests conducted in August 2024.
The test compared the 15-inch MacBook Air with the M3 processor to the Surface Laptop 7 with Microsoft’s new Snapdragon X Elite processor . Both devices were subjected to the Speedometer 3.0 benchmark with the latest browsers. The MacBook Air was tested with Safari 17.5 on macOS Sonoma , while the Surface Laptop 7 was tested with Chrome 128.0.6613.113 on Windows 11 Home .
The results clearly showed the MacBook Air’s superiority in graphics performance and web browsing speed. With these tests, Apple emphasizes that the Mac is the best computer for AI tasks, and supports this claim with data.
