New iPhone ringtones revealed with iOS 17 RC
iPhone 15, 15 Plus, 15 Pro and Pro Max models came up with important innovations. However, apart from all these innovations, iOS 17 and the new features it brings were not mentioned at the event. Apple will release iOS 17 on Monday, September 18. However, if they wish, users have the opportunity to try iOS 17 RC, that is, the version before the public stable version.
iOS 17 RC introduces more than twenty new iPhone ringtones and alert tones. Apple has also remastered old ringtones.
Except for a special 10th anniversary ringtone released in 2017 exclusively for iPhone X, no new ringtones have been introduced for a decade. On September 18, Apple will launch new iPhone ringtones for all models that will receive iOS 17.
New iPhone ringtones aren’t the only new features coming with iOS 17. Apple introduced new features for personal communication and sharing with iOS 17. In this sense, the “Personalize your calls” feature is among the important innovations. With this feature, you can put a photo or Memoji of the person on the call screen. It is also possible to customize this call screen from font style to color.
Another iOS 17 feature is Live Stickers support. With this feature, you will be able to select certain objects from photos and use them as stickers.
Wanting to make communication easier, Apple allows you to communicate when the person you are calling cannot answer your FaceTime call. Accordingly, it is now possible to send video or audio recordings to the person. You will also be able to use augmented reality effects during FaceTime calls.
NameDrop, an AirDrop-like feature, is another important innovation. With this feature, which will work similar to AirDrop, you will be able to send a number and information stored in your contacts to a different iPhone or Apple Watch. This feature also brings two iPhones together. Thanks to SharePlay, it is now possible to play games and listen to music with another iPhone user.
