Apple held its annual Apple Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) in June, where they announced several updates and introduced new products. Among these updates was the widely known “Hey Siri” command, which received an upgrade.
Apple is phasing out the “Hey Siri” command with iOS 17!
During the conference, Apple announced a range of new features, including an enhancement to Siri‘s functionality. Siri will now be triggered directly by addressing it with its name, eliminating the need to say “Hey Siri.” This change aims to make Siri more easily accessible. The modification, which is part of iOS 17, will be available on iPhones, iPads, Macs, and other compatible devices.
