Apple reduces iPhone 16 Plus battery capacity
Apple made a significant change in the iPhone 14 series , which it introduced to users in 2022 . The brand shelved the mini model, which was not very satisfied with its sales, and replaced it with the Plus model with a larger screen and battery . In fact, the phone made a name for itself by surpassing all models in the series in terms of battery performance with its 4325 mAh battery.
iPhone 15 Plus, released last year, appeared before users with a 4383 mAh battery. However, this time, it lost its title as the model with the largest battery in the series, the 4422 mAh iPhone 15 Pro Max. Of course, this does not change the fact that there is a significant increase in the battery capacity of the smartphone.
Things will change with the iPhone 16 series that will be introduced this year. According to information from sources close to the company, the battery of the iPhone 16 Plus will decrease by 8 percent, down to 4006 mAh. In fact, the only model in the series that will experience a decrease in battery will be the 16 Plus.
