Apple is making available to Apple Vision Pro users an exclusive concert recording of the two-year finale of Metallica’s M72 World Tour. Recorded in Mexico City, the performance includes the band’s iconic songs ‘Whiplash’, ‘One’ and ‘Enter Sandman’ in their entirety. Fans of the band have already welcomed this development.
Apple to stream Metallica concert on Vision Pro
This special shoot was realised using Apple Immersive Video technology. Delivering a high-resolution 180-degree image, the recording is supported by Spatial Audio technology, giving the audience an experience from the closest point to the stage.

A total of 14 Apple Immersive Video cameras were used for the filming, including fixed cameras, cable suspension systems and remote-controlled cameras that moved around the stage. This radical move is expected to significantly boost sales of the device.
Apple says Vision Pro owners will be able to watch Metallica members in what feels like the ‘Snake Pit’ area. The concert video will be released for Apple Vision Pro on Friday 14 March. For those who do not own a Vision Pro, a preview will be available at Apple stores. On the same day, Metallica’s new EP M72 World Tour: Mexico City will also be available on Apple Music.
Apple Vision Pro is currently on sale in countries such as America, UK, Germany, France, Canada, Australia, Hong Kong, Japan, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, United Arab Emirates. So what do you think about this issue? You can share your opinions with us in the comments section below.
