TSMC’s advances in the 2nm chip manufacturing process indicate that Apple will be able to seamlessly integrate next-generation processor technology. It was stated that production yield rates exceeded 60-70 per cent in the last three months, reaching a much higher success rate.
This development will enable the iPhone 18 series to be the first Apple devices with 2nm chips in 2026. According to TSMC’s statements, 2nm chips will offer a performance increase of approximately 15% at current power consumption.
