A couple of weeks ago, Apple made a big announcement that they’re bringing Final Cut Pro and Logic Pro apps to the iPad. Guess what? Now they’re available for you to use! Let’s dig into what you should know about them.
Even though Apple just launched these apps, they might take a little time to pop up for you. But no worries, you can use these direct links for Final Cut and Logic Pro to access them right away.
A bit different from Mac versions
The iPad versions of Final Cut Pro and Logic Pro do differ a bit from their Mac versions, as they require a standalone subscription. But, the pricing is super reasonable – each app is just $4.99 per month or $49 per year with a bonus of a one-month free trial. The video-editing tool Final Cut Pro is compatible with M1 chip iPad models or later. Logic Pro, on the other hand, is available on A12 Bionic chip iPad models or later, making it accessible to a broader spectrum of iPad users.
Our Turkish site ShiftDelete.Net prepared a very through video about Final Cut Pro and compared the iPad and Mac versions. You can watch the video below and use automatic English translations for subtitles.
Apple is quite thrilled about these new iPad versions. They offer all-new touch interfaces enhancing your workflow with the responsiveness and spontaneity of Multi-Touch. The iPad version of the video-editing software presents a robust set of tools for video creators, allowing them to record, edit, finalize, and share, all from one portable device. Meanwhile, Logic Pro empowers you with the essence of professional music creation at your fingertips.
Bob Borchers, Apple’s VP of Worldwide Product Marketing, couldn’t contain his excitement: “We’re thrilled to introduce Final Cut Pro and Logic Pro for iPad, enabling creators to unleash their creativity in new ways and from even more places. With a powerful set of intuitive tools designed for the portability, performance, and touch-first interface of the iPad, these apps deliver the ultimate mobile studio.”
