Apple has introduced a new update for AirPods users that allows customization of the noise cancellation feature. With the new beta update, noise cancellation is now fully under your control. Not only can you block out the outside world by simply putting on your headphones, but you can also decide how much of that world you want to block out. Here are the details…
With the new Apple AirPods update, you can adjust noise cancellation as you wish
The new feature, called “Customizable Adaptive Audio,” allows users to personalize the level of noise cancellation. Until now, AirPods Pro would automatically adjust noise cancellation by detecting environmental noise. But now, you can take control.
With this AirPods beta update, you can completely turn off noise cancellation, partially turn it on, or fully activate it. Options include settings like “more noise cancellation” and “less noise cancellation.” In the current situation, AirPods Pro will no longer automatically adjust for environmental noise. You will need to manually customize these settings according to your needs.
This AirPods update is not just limited to personalizing noise cancellation. The feature announced during the Apple WWDC keynote, allowing calls to be rejected or accepted by nodding or head movements, will also be part of this update. This means a much more interactive and user-friendly experience for AirPods users is on the horizon. So, when will these features be available?
Apple plans to release this update alongside iOS 18 towards the end of 2024. These new features will allow AirPods Pro users to use their devices in a more personalized manner. What do you think about this update? Don’t forget to share your thoughts in the comments section below!
