Apple may introduce M2 Ultra and M2 Max Macs in WWDC

Apple is organizing the WWDC 2023 event on June 5 and is expected to unveil a range of new products. In the days leading up to the event, it has been reported that the event will feature Mac computers powered by the M2 Ultra and M2 Max processors. Here are the details about these high-performance processors.

M2 Ultra and M2 Max-powered Mac Studio leaked

Rumors have been circulating that Apple will announce a 15-inch MacBook Air, but it is now reported that the company is also preparing to introduce new Mac models powered by the M2 Max and M2 Ultra processors.

According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, these processors will be featured in the revamped Mac Studio. These computers, internally identified as Mac 14.3 and Mac 14.4, will impress with their processor performance. It should be noted that the M2 Ultra will make its debut with these models.

Apple Music Classical is available on Android before iPad

Apple expands Apple Music Classical app to Android, offering a vast catalog of classical music. iPad and Mac versions expected in the WWDC.

The M2 Ultra is expected to include 16 performance cores, 4 efficiency cores (also found in the M1 Ultra), and up to 76 GPU cores, with support for up to 192 GB of RAM.

The M2 Max has already been introduced in the 16-inch MacBook models and offers up to 12 CPU cores, up to 19 GPU cores, and up to 32 GB of fast unified memory. The M2 Max takes a step further with up to 38 GPU cores, twice the unified memory bandwidth, and up to 96 GB of unified memory.

The fate of the long-delayed Apple Silicon Mac Pro remains uncertain. It is worth noting that this model is the only computer offered by Apple with an Intel processor. Whether there will be an update for the Mac Pro at WWDC 2023 is currently unknown.
