Apple unveiled new iPad models and the M4 chip at an event the other day. The new silicon processor, which promises a 50 percent performance increase compared to M2, was finally seen in the performance test. So how are the Apple M4 benchmark results?

According to Apple, the M4 chip delivers 50 percent faster performance than the previous M2 iPad Pro. The CPU has 4 performance and 6 efficiency cores and is backed by a 10-core GPU that is four times faster than the M2.
The results on Geekbench revealed the performance of the Apple M4 chip that powers iPad Pro models. Accordingly, it is the leader in single-core CPU performance. The M4 chip scored nearly 3800 points in Geekbench’s single-core test, 16 percent better than the Intel Core i9-14900KS.
According to reporting, this is the first time Apple has done so well in single-threaded results. Early benchmark results also revealed that the M4 will deliver up to a 3 percent increase in multi-core performance over the previous generation.
Apple’s development of the Neural Engine also seems to have borne fruit. M4’s machine learning capabilities are up to 25 percent better than M2. It demonstrates Apple’s success in architectural optimization and frequency increase.
The new M4 chip has a 10-core CPU and 10-core GPU design. It also combines a 16-core Neural Engine and up to 32 GB of RAM. Developed with TSMC’s 3nm architecture, the processor is 50 percent more powerful than the M2.
