Apple Music Classical is available globally as of today. The app is available with a regular Apple Music subscription, so no extra subscription or payment is required. As the name suggests, The app focuses specifically on classical music lovers. It also centers on Primephonic, which Apple acquired in 2021.
Apple Music Classical is for classical music lovers
The app is available on iPhones running iOS 15.4 or later. Also, the Android version is “coming soon.” The app also offers 192KHz/24-bit high-resolution lossless audio quality. It also has features like browsing composer biographies, descriptions of key works, “deep-dive” guides, and more. There are few things different from the main Apple Music app. Apple Music Voice Plan subscribers can’t use the new app. There’s no iPad app yet. Also, you can’t download music for offline listening. The navigation bar has just four buttons (Listen Now, Browse, Library and Search). Also, there’s no Radio shortcut.
