Apple is set to host a New Year promotion in Japan, with full details expected to be officially announced soon. According to the company, the promotion will be available both online and in physical stores. Customers will have the chance to receive gift cards of various values and other special products. Apple Announces New Year Gift Cards and Special AirTag
The gift cards will range in value from 4,000 CNY to 30,000 CNY and will feature a unique design inspired by the traditional Japanese “mizuhiki” style. These cards can be used to purchase not only Apple products but also the company’s services.
During the promotional period, customers can purchase products like M3 chip-powered MacBook models, iPhones, certain iPad Pro models, and accessories such as those produced by Beats. The promotion will run from January 2–5, 2025, across all 10 Apple stores in Japan.
Additionally, customers who purchase certain iPhone models will receive a special snake-themed AirTag, exclusive to this event. For context, the snake symbolizes the upcoming year in Japanese astrology. The eligible iPhone models for this promotion are:
- iPhone 15
- iPhone 15 Plus
- iPhone 14
- iPhone 14 Plus
- iPhone SE (3rd generation)
For online purchases, the gift cards will be digital, while in-store customers will receive beautifully designed physical versions. Another highlight of this edition is the inclusion of all Apple Watch models, a feature not seen in previous versions of the promotion.
