The company released two security updates this week for both iOS and Safari, numbered 15.6.1. Here are the details about the Apple security update.
Apple releases updates to patch security flaws
Apple today announced some serious vulnerabilities that allow hackers to grab “full admin access” to the devices. Therefore, the company launched two security patches for the iPhone, the iPad, the iPod, and the Mac. If you have the iPhone 6s and a newer device, you should immediately update your device to iOS 15.6.1 and iPadOS 15.6.1 according to the security experts.
The security notes for iOS / iPadOS 15.6.1 and macOS 12.5.1 are fixes for bugs in the OS’ kernel (the core that controls everything) and WebKit that could allow hackers to run malicious code on your device. Apple also warns users that the attackers may have exploited the bugs.

- Impact: An application may be able to execute arbitrary code with kernel privileges. Apple is aware of a report that this issue may have been actively exploited.

You should update your devices to protect them from possible attacks. To install iOS 15.6.1 and iPadOS 15.6.1 on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch (seventh generation) go to Settings > General > Software Update. On the Mac, go to System Preferences > Software Update. Then you can update your device and you can turn on automatic updates if you want.
