Apple has announced that it has added new devices to its Self-Service Repair program, which it initially launched last year. The inclusion of the M2 MacBook and the iPhone 14 family among these products has attracted attention. The company also stated that it will provide repair support for certain parts of the iPhone 12 and iPhone 13.

Self-Service Repair now includes iPhone 14 and M2 MacBook

Apple continues to expand its self-service repair program, which is being conducted in nine different countries. Starting from June 21, the iPhone 14 and the M2-based 13-inch MacBook Air and MacBook Pro models will also be included in the program.

It’s worth mentioning that the M1-based iMac computer has been added to the expansion as well. Apple has also extended support to certain parts, allowing users to repair the TrueDepth camera and the upper speaker of the iPhone 12 and iPhone 13 on their own.

Amazing feature for those who don’t understand cars from Apple!

A person testing the beta version of iOS 17 revealed that the Visual Search feature now recognizes symbols in vehicles.

The Self-Service Repair program is available in the United States, Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, Poland, Spain, Sweden, and the United Kingdom. The program enables users to perform many simple repairs themselves and provides over 200 separate parts and tools, as well as repair guides.

Apple has also made changes to the stages of the repair program. It has eliminated the need for users to contact Apple support during the repair process. The System Configuration tool will enable users to follow the provided instructions and perform the repairs on their own.

The System Configuration tool not only calibrates the replaced components but also ensures the integration of biometric features like Face ID and Touch ID.
