Apple announced a new update to App Store Turkey prices in a notification sent to developers. This change, effective November 17th, will include Turkey, as well as Poland and Switzerland.
Why is Apple updating App Store Turkey prices?
The Cupertino giant offers automatic price tiers to ensure price consistency across its 175 stores worldwide. The company periodically updates these tiers to account for local tax policies and currency fluctuations. This latest adjustment in Turkey was made as a result of this policy.
The statement states that this update will affect developers using Apple’s automatic pricing system. This means that developers who manually set prices for their apps or in-app purchases will not be affected by this change.
However, Apple emphasized that the change applies to apps and one-time in-app purchases. Automatically renewing subscriptions are excluded from this price update.
