The tech giant also plans to sell accessories such as alternative headbands, external battery packs and shoulder bags in its stores. Prescription lenses will also be available for people who wear glasses.
Apple is developing an iOS app to help users before they buy glasses. A physical head-scan test will be available in stores to show how best to use Vision Pro. For online orders, customers will be asked to upload their prescription lenses and head scan data.
Apple said at the launch event that the product will be available in 2024. So much so that the company set a sales target of 1 million units in the first year.
