Apple held Wonderlust, one of the most anticipated events of the year, in recent weeks. The company managed to attract attention by introducing the iPhone 15 series at this launch. Of course, with the new Watch Ultra 2 smartwatch, it also turned the eyes on itself.
Subsequently, the brand recently released the watchOS 10 operating system for Watch smartwatches. But this new software also brought complaints. An annoying problem drove users crazy. Here are the details…
Apple Watch Ultra users can’t see the screen
With the new watchOS 10 version, many applications have been redesigned. Afterwards, widget support came, just like on iPhones. It is possible to display these widgets on the home screen. On the other hand, the new software also offers two new watch faces, Snoopy and Woodstock.
Reddit and Apple Community platforms have been flooded with complaints about Apple Watch Ultra. Users claimed that the smartwatch’s display is difficult to read in low light conditions. In other words, the Watch Ultra’s screen brightness is not sufficiently calibrated according to the environment.
While this problem is thought to be only on the Apple Watch Ultra 2 introduced last month, there were also complaints from first-generation Watch Ultra users. Accordingly, it was realized that the problem started with the watchOS 10 update.
According to the information shared by users, this problem manifests itself most when you switch from a bright room to a dark room and when Night Mode is set. Moreover, the problem persists even when the brightness level is manually changed via Settings.
According to the source, Apple is aware of this annoying problem. In this context, the problem is expected to be solved with an update to be released soon. At this point, it is useful to wait for now.
