Apple, one of the important names in the technology world, has been struggling with big problems lately. Apple Watch 9 series and Watch Ultra 2, two of the company’s newest products, are dealing with a sales ban decision. However, with the resulting decision, the sales ban seems to have been finalized. Here are the details!
As of December 24, Apple Watch 9 series and Watch Ultra 2 sales will stop
Apple has been on the agenda lately due to the Apple Watch 9 series and Watch Ultra 2. The reason for this problem is the patent dispute between Apple and medical technology company Masimo. According to Masimo, Apple is violating their patent with the SpO2 sensors it uses in its smart watches.
Following these events, the US International Trade Commission (ITC) took action and conducted investigations. After the investigations, Masimo was proven right. After this situation, sales of Apple Watch 9 series and Watch Ultra 2 were stopped.
Apple, on the other hand, applied to the ITC to postpone the suspension decision. However, ITC did not accept Apple’s application either. After all these events, sales in the USA will be stopped as of the coming days. However, Apple is doing its best to get rid of this decision.
On the other hand, it should be noted that the sales ban in question only covers the USA. During this period, sellers in the USA will continue to sell Apple Watch 9 series and Watch Ultra 2 until their stocks run out. It will be removed from Apple’s sales store on December 24.
