Apple unveiled the latest Watch Series 10 model with the Glowtime event. Along with the new watches, the operating system has also been updated. In this context, watchOS 11 stable version for Apple Watch will be released next week. So what does the new operating system offer?
All features coming with watchOS 11
Features such as pausing Activity Rings, setting weekly goals and personalized summaries make fitness tracking more flexible and motivating. Overnight health measurements can be analyzed in more detail with Life Findings, while the impact of training intensity on the body can be tracked with Training Load.
In the area of personalization, the Photos Dial automatically displays your best photos on your watch face, while advanced dial customization options allow you to match your watch to your style. With Smart Grouping, Live Events and important information are instantly on your wrist, while new widgets give you quick access to your favorite apps.
With Status Check, you can keep your loved ones informed about your location, and with Dual Touch, you can navigate apps hands-free.
watchOS 11 takes health tracking even deeper. The new Vitals app will assess your daily health and make recommendations using key metrics measured during sleep. Pregnancy support has been added to cycle tracking, while the Training Load feature will track athletes’ training intensity over time.
On the communication front, the Translate app allows you to translate between 20 different languages, listen to the translation and even slow it down. Translation is also available in Smart Grouping for easy access. Workout features include Advanced GPS Positioning, Custom Workouts for Pool Swimming and Next Workout View.
