Which Products Will Apple Discontinue?
The main focus of Apple’s upcoming launch will be the Mac and iPad models. It is anticipated that new 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pros powered by M4, M4 Pro, and M4 Max chips will be announced. While it is not yet confirmed, it is likely that we will say goodbye to the MacBook Pros equipped with the M3 chip after the new models are introduced.
Apple last updated the Mac Mini model with M2 and M2 Pro chips at the beginning of 2023. However, this is set to change with the upcoming event. Industry sources suggest a high likelihood of the release of a Mac Mini featuring the M4 and M4 Pro chips. In this case, the M2 Mac Mini models may be discontinued.
There are also reports that the iMac model will be renewed. It is expected that iMacs powered by the M4 chip will be released, and the sales of the previous model with the M3 chip will cease. Additionally, a new iPad mini powered by the A18 chip, which will likely support Apple Intelligence, is anticipated. This suggests that the iPad mini 6 may be nearing its end.
