Apple continues to lead the technology world with the products it announced throughout the year. In this context, the devices that the company will introduce and put on sale in 2024 have also emerged. Accordingly, Apple will start 2024 with Vision Pro and finish it with Mac.
Did Apple choose February 2024 for Vision Pro?
Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo revealed the company’s roadmap, including Vision Pro, in his latest industry predictions. Kuo offered new details about the timeline of Apple’s mixed reality glasses.
According to the analyst’s post, mass production of Vision Pro is still continuing. In this context, the first shipments of glasses will be made in January. This suggests user distribution will begin in late January or early February, Kuo estimates.
Another leaker, Mark Gurman, had determined January as the possible launch date. According to Gurman, Apple will train its store employees to help customers starting in January. A few days of trials will be conducted on Vision Pro.
Kuo expects 500 thousand Vision Pros to be produced this year. If user feedback is positive, it will be Apple’s “next star product.” In this context, an affordable model can also be introduced.
In addition to the glasses, Kuo stated that the autumn event will be held in the fourth quarter of the year. In this context, Mac computers with new processors such as the M3 Ultra will be introduced. The company is expected to refresh the Mac Studio or Mac Pro.
It is said that some of these computers may be introduced at the WWDC conference held in June. We will see in time whether Kuo’s predictions are correct.
