In October 2023, Apple introduced its new M3 processors, which are more powerful than previous generations. These chipsets were first introduced in the updated MacBook Pro lineup and soon appeared in MacBook Air models. However, according to the latest developments, the M3 will not be available for the Mac mini, but the device will come with a more powerful processor.
Will there be a Mac mini with M3 processor?
Reliable Apple source Mark Gurman recently leaked the tech giant’s M4 processor roadmap. Accordingly, it was claimed that the 14-inch MacBook Pro and 24-inch iMac models would be renewed first, and in early 2025, it would be the turn of the Mac mini. In the light of this information, it was a matter of curiosity whether the Mac mini would come with the M3 processor or the next generation processor.
According to a recent report by Mark Gurman, Apple will skip M3 processors in the revamped Mac mini series and update directly with M4 processors. Mac mini models with new M4 processors are expected to be released by the end of this year.
According to recent information, M4 processors will be supported with Neural Engine to make artificial intelligence-related operations faster. In this context, new chipsets seem to attract a lot of attention in the technology world.
